Step 2 – Certificate Purchase
Once you have completed the Free 120-Hour TEFL Course and received your Free Memorandum of Completion, you will be able to buy the certificate that best suits your needs. Purchasing your certificate will allow you to transform your skills into new work and life opportunities.
Step 3 – Create a TEFL CV
Once you have your 120-Hour Certificate you can create a TEFL CV. This will allow you to apply for and be recruited for TEFL jobs both online and overseas. If you are looking to apply and use your 120-Hour Certificate this is your next step.
Step 4 – 100-Hour Professional Practicum
Take the next step, extend your skills and qualification further by applying your skills in the classroom by completing your 100-Hour Practicum. A 120-hour TEFL certificate opens the door to opportunities, the 100-Hour Practicum Certificate proves your experience to employers.
Step 5 – Apply for TEFL Jobs
When you have completed your TEFL CV you can apply for TEFL jobs through the TEFL jobs board. The simple one-click application process will send your TEFL CV to leading TEFL employers.

Creating your account and enrolling in the 120-hour TEFL course
Start your enrolment process by first creating an account. To do so, click the 'Join Now' button at the top of the website and fill in your first name and surname.
Next, enter your email address and a secure password. Your password must be more than 7 characters and must include at least three of the following 4 character types: uppercase character, lowercase character, number and special character (#, ?, !, etc.)
A verification email will be sent to the inbox of your email address entered during registration. Follow the instruction in the email to continue your enrolment.
Within the verification email will be a 'Verify My Account' button. Click it to finalise your account registration and log in to begin your course.

Navigating around your account dashboard
The Dashboard is where you can complete the free 120-hour TEFL course, download your digital certifications, enrol in the 100-Professional Practicum and apply for TEFL teaching positions.
The section of the dashboard will allow you to download completed and/or purchased TEFL certifications.
Creating a CV will allow you to apply to TEFL teaching positions. Here you can create and edit your TEFL teaching CV, once you are ready, you can use it to apply for TEFL positions.

Navigating through your course
Begin by logging into your account.
Click on ''Go to Course'.
To start your first module, click on the grey play button to the left of Module #1 to open the module dropdown and then click 'Begin'.
Read, watch and study the content in the first module. Takes notes if necessary and prepare for the end-of-module quiz.
Once you have thoroughly read and watched all of the module content, and you are ready to take the quiz, click 'Complete Quiz' at the bottom of the module content.
Take your time answering the quiz questions, as you can only move forward to the next module once you have successfully answered all quiz questions.
Once you have finished the quiz, click 'Submit' to receive your results.
If you have passed the quiz successfully, you will be able to move on to the next module by clicking 'Complete Module'.
You can now continue on to the next module.
In your Dashboard, you will now see that you have commenced the course and be able to track your progress.

Beginning your search for employment
Begin by adding a CV to your account. Click the + icon to the right of the 'CVs' box.
Fill in your CV details with as much detail as you can. This will help employers decide if you are the right fit for the job. Once complete, click ' Save'.
Click 'Jobs' in the menu bar at the top of the page.
Use the search bar and filter to refine your search.
Here you can see all the information about the job. To apply for a job, click Apply.
Your TEFL CV will be automatically sent to the employer. You can now apply for other jobs.
If the employer is interested in your application, they will contact you via the email address you provided when registering.

Practicum
To begin your 100-Professional Practicum, register an account on the website.
On the main Dashboard, scroll down to 3. 100-Hour Professional Practicum and click "View Practicum"
You will find more information about the 100-Professional Practicum, including: course descriptions, requirements and materials to submit.
Click the "$" to pay for the Practicum.
To complete the practicum. You will need to submit 3 articles (2500+ word essay reflecting on experiences and learnings during teaching, 3 lesson annotated plan with supporting in-class material, Contact details for school and supervisor during teaching).
Once you have been awarded your 100-Professional Practicum Certification, you will be able purchase a Hard-Copy 100-Professional Practicum Certification, if you wish.

Editing the details in your profile
To edit the information in your profile, click the yellow profile icon to the left of the logout button in the menu bar at the top of the page.
Edit your profile details and click 'Submit' once finished. The only profile detail you cannot change is your email address that you created your account with.

Verifying A Certificate
To verify a certificate, enter the details exactly as they appear on the certificate. Note: this only verifies certificates that were granted by The TEFL Professional Development Institute.
This is what you will see if there is no valid match. Make sure you provided the correct details. Contact supportdesk@telfpdi.com if there are any issues.
If the certificate is valid. The above notification will appear. It will include basic information about the certificate.
